Our Producer Development Program nurtures emerging producers, supporting professional development and hands-on experience. The producers take on lead roles through the BlakDance Residency and Dance Lab programs, with support and guidance from the BlakDance team.

The Producer Development Program is funded through Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund – an Australian Government initiative. BlakDance received financial assistance from the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland QASP funding for the initial program development in 2018.
